Facilities

With space, comfort and convenience, our facilities are right for many recreational events – any time of the year.

The right venue can make a big difference for a successful event. The Two Hills Agricultural Society and the Two Hills Sports Activity Council manages a number of sports-related facilities in the Two Hills community. These are available for rent for your organization.

Two Hills Arena

Built in 1967, the two-story arena offers an ice rink, lobby, washrooms and dressing rooms on the main level, and an upper level with a viewing platform, announcer’s booth and concession booth. The ice rink has artificial ice and there is a Zamboni to clean it. Caretaker services are available all year round.

The arena is used for:

  • Hockey games, practices and public skating in winter

  • AgriDay Tradeshow, Run to the Hills Rally, and 4-H shows in summer

It is available for rent, winter and summer through the SAC.

Two Hills Recreation Centre

Located next to the arena, the newly completed Recreation Centre was officially opened to the public on November 21, 2017.

The lower floor features the new Curling Rink with 3 sheets and a viewing area to enjoy watching curlers.  Also located on the lower floor is the new Fitness Center which is open 24/7. The second floor features a Banquet Hall and during the Curling session it is used as a lounge and viewing area to the rink below.  It seats approximately 100 people comfortably and can be rented for private parties.

The Youth Centre is located on the upper floor as well as a Dance Studio where the Two Hills Ukrainian Dancers practice and Yoga classes are held
